I have been licensed as a nail technician for a year and have been employed with A+ for a year. I started as a student at A+ and was offered a position as an office administrator after I completed my schooling. When I was trying to determine what career path I wanted to take I knew I needed something flexible as having a toddler and being a caregiver to my grandfather is a full-time job itself. I went searching to see what career is trendy and came across being a nail technician. I was so worried that I would fail due to having zero experience doing nails but I didn’t let that stop me. After checking out nail schools in my area that just didn’t fit my life I finally came across A+ on TikTok. I called and immediately scheduled a tour and after hearing about how flexible the programs were I took the plunge and used my savings without speaking with my significant other and registered right then and there. I love working here at A+ because I get to help new students navigate their nail journey. I always aim to be understanding and always hope each student leaves A+ confident and proud of their accomplishments.
